To clear Zue, free four souls for each of the three Rainfall Altars, activate the altars in order, then follow the new waterways to the fourth temple and defeat Storm Master. Break the fragile wall by letting a Douma's wind blast throw Ark into it, and collect the exposed riverbed Magirock before activating the third altar because that terrain change can make it unavailable.

Before entering Zue

Zue is the jungle directly south of Safarium. The BirdSuit helps against the area's enemies, while the RocSpear is required to break the pair of dark rocks on the second-altar route. Keep both the RocSpear and the Sticker available: the RocSpear handles the obstacle and Dunguns well, while the Sticker is a useful boss weapon.

There are three Magirocks in Zue. The second one in route order is the important missable: pick it up from the dry riverbed during the third-altar section before making the rain fall.

First Rainfall Altar: find the first four souls

From the entrance, go left, then north, and crawl through the opening in the foliage. The lower-right branch leads to a harmless plant and chests containing an M.Bulb and P.Cure; return and take the upper-right branch to begin the altar route.

  1. At the large-tree crossroads, take the west path and defeat the Dungun. Speak to the released soul.
  2. Return to the crossroads, go north, then work toward the northeast corner. Defeat the Lizard Man and speak to its soul.
  3. Take the southeast exit and defeat the Dungun for the third soul.
  4. Return toward the northern route, crawl under the foliage, drop into the dry riverbed, and defeat the first Douma for the fourth soul.

Continue through the riverbed and under the fallen trunks, climb out, and enter the altar. After the rain sequence, jump into the new water to collect the DEF Potion.

Second Rainfall Altar: break the fragile wall

Return to the area where you found the second soul. A newly reachable opening leads to the Sticker and an M.Bulb. Continue southeast, enter the water, and swim east; the northern side path holds a P.Cure.

Back on the main route, equip the RocSpear and destroy the two dark rocks. The four souls for this altar are found as follows:

  1. Defeat the Dungun beyond the rocks.
  2. In the next area, crawl through the foliage and defeat the Dungun inside. The nearby chest contains an S.Bulb.
  3. Drop into the riverbed and approach the cracked wall. Do not keep hitting it with the spear. Stand so a Douma's wind attack knocks Ark into the wall; the impact opens the passage. One of the two Doumas beyond it releases the third soul.
  4. Climb past the broken wall, go west beyond the altar entrance, and defeat the Lizard Man. Collect the first Magirock just beyond it before returning to the altar.

Activate the second altar. Water now lets you move the tree stumps and enter the northern section.

Third Rainfall Altar: take the missable Magirock first

Push one stump into the water as a bridge and move the other aside. The far north contains 65 Gems and a Life Potion. Then gather the four souls:

  1. Go south from the treasure area and defeat the first Lizard Man.
  2. Drop into the dry riverbed and defeat the right-hand Douma.
  3. Continue south and defeat the Doumas; one releases the third soul.
  4. Return across the stump route, swim south, leave the water at the first landing, and defeat the enemy there for the final soul.

Before visiting the third altar, collect the second Magirock to the right of the area where the third soul appeared. Rain changes this riverbed, so this is the one pickup to check before proceeding. After all four souls have moved, follow the water to the altar, activate it, then go slightly west for the third Magirock.

Reach Storm Master

From the third altar, use the opened southern water route to return near Zue's entrance and collect the Luck Potion that is now reachable. Then return to the stump section and follow the river beyond the third-altar soul route. The current leads to the fourth temple and the boss.

Storm Master boss strategy

Storm Master is also called Storm Keeper in some older guides. A level around 15 is useful guidance, not a strict requirement; equipment and safe openings matter more than the number alone.

First form

  • Attack the exposed torso with a dash or Slicer attack.
  • Move sideways when a scythe is thrown rather than staying in its return path.
  • The flames target lanes on the platform; move vertically or stay near the doorway when the pattern allows it.
  • If the torso closes before you reach it, disengage and wait for the next throw instead of trading damage.

Second form

The arena appears to fall while Storm Master moves around it. Stay near the safer southern edge while rocks or fire are active, then move toward the middle to encourage the boss to descend. Strike the face when it enters spear range and retreat before the next hazard.

Defeating Storm Master restores the mammals and returns Ark to a populated Safarium. Visit the lion den, learn about Leim, and continue south to the Canyon; Zue itself is complete.

Sources and route verification

The altar order, item locations, fragile-wall interaction, and boss route were cross-checked on September 20, 2026 against the RPGClassics Zue walkthrough, its stuck-player FAQ, and the Thonky Safarium and Zue guide. Directions here are reorganized around the decisions that block progress instead of reproducing either source's room-by-room wording.
