Terranigma Cheat Codes: Safe SNES Code Guide
Terranigma cheat codes explained with documented Game Genie, Snes9X, and Pro Action Replay examples, version warnings, save protection, and safer alternatives.
On this page+
Terranigma cheat codes are version-sensitive memory modifications for original SNES hardware or compatible emulators, not normal in-game options. Back up your save before trying any code, use only one effect at a time, and remove a code before assuming a broken save is a game bug. If you only need help with a difficult fight, changing equipment or learning the boss pattern is safer than altering permanent stats.
What known code lists cover
Known code lists cover Game Genie, Snes9X, and Pro Action Replay formats. They document codes for high health, Magirocks, money, fast experience, attack, defence, luck, status removal, and wall movement. The lists disagree about the exact effect of some address values, so this page treats each code as a tool to test on a disposable save rather than a universal guarantee.
The clearest low-risk examples are temporary resource adjustments. One source lists 7E07ED 64 for a large Magirock amount in Snes9X, while another lists 7E0697FF for unlimited money in Pro Action Replay. The exact spaces and input format depend on the device or emulator, so copy the format expected by your own cheat interface.
Health and invincibility codes
The sources list Game Genie combinations for 255 health and Snes9X or Pro Action Replay values beginning with 7E065D. They also attach different interpretations to related addresses, including fixed health, strength, and invincibility. Do not stack health codes with stat codes unless you understand how your version displays current and maximum HP.
Several listed “invincibility” options can make the health display look unusual or prevent normal stat changes. That behaviour may be useful for testing an area, but it makes a regular save hard to interpret later. Turn the code off, earn or take a small amount of normal damage, and confirm that the file behaves normally before continuing.
Money, Magirocks, and level growth
Unlimited money and Magirock codes are less disruptive than wall movement, but they can still affect shops, event checks, and the feeling of progression. The source notes that the unlimited-money code can report that Ark is broke during some services until the code is disabled and normal money is earned again. Keep a clean save before using it at an inn, shop, or story checkpoint.
Fast-level codes are especially risky. One guide warns that its level-growth value can freeze the game outside dungeons or areas with enemies. If you test it at all, do so in a separate file, enter a combat area first, and remove it immediately after confirming the result.
Movement and stat modifiers
Known lists include wall movement, maximum attack, maximum defence, maximum luck, and no-abnormality values. These can bypass puzzles, trigger locations out of sequence, or hide a status condition that the game expects you to manage. Use them for research or experimentation, not for a first playthrough you want to preserve.
Avoid combining multiple permanent-stat codes. The source itself describes display limitations and unexpected values when several codes are active together, which is a warning that the internal values and on-screen numbers do not always match neatly. A normal equipment upgrade is a much safer answer when a boss feels too hard.
Safe testing checklist
Create a separate save or emulator save state before entering a code. Record the exact game version, cheat device or emulator, code format, location, and effect you observed. If the game freezes, displays impossible values, or advances an event unexpectedly, reload the clean save instead of trying to repair the altered state.
This page deliberately does not provide ROMs, patched game files, or a promise that a code works on every release. The versions page explains legal use and compatibility, while the enemy weaknesses guide offers non-cheat solutions for combat. Cheats should be optional tools, never the only route through Terranigma.
