Terranigma Louran Walkthrough

Where do you go after Louran? Start in Lhasa: speak with Lord Kumari and Meihou, then accept the search for Meilin. Enter the Gobi Desert, follow the girl who runs away, and you will reach Louran. Once the town is resolved, speak with Meihou again; he points you to the nomads for the route across the Taklahama Desert.

Find Meilin in Louran

In town, take the lower-left exit from the square to reach Temjin's house and the cemetery. Clear the zombies there, inspect the northern grave, then equip Meilin's Scarf before speaking with Turbo in the north-east corner.

Do not enter the large house before Turbo goes inside. Follow him down to the basement. The small side rooms hold optional Magirocks; crawl beneath the table at the dead end to reach the one that is easiest to overlook. Continue left for the scene with Meilin and Turbo.

Useful pickups without a full detour

The Holy Seal, LightRod, BonePin, and several Magirocks are in this chapter's route. The important distinction is that they are useful pickups, not reasons to lose the story thread. If you are short on gems, decide whether the BronzePike is a meaningful upgrade for your current setup before buying it.

The next destination

After the town's illusion lifts, return to the square and talk to Meihou. The next instruction is the nomad camp; it provides the directions needed to cross the Taklahama Desert. From there the main route continues through the Groom Hunt and Norfest Forest toward Sylvain Castle.
